Development Daily update


Oct 5 - Brainstorming/Planning on TA, platform, and game inspiration. We decided on doing a 2D mobile game inspired by "Ridiculous Fishing", we researched on what our target audience is interested in and also researched into UI, and art style that we would like to recreate. 

Oct 6 - Started sketching the environment and the characters that would be implemented into the game, receiving critique in this process.  I also drew up multiple art styles and assets to try and refine our vision. 

Oct 7 - Used Procreate on my IPad Pro with a high resolution to draw out the sprites that will be used in Unity.

Oct 8 - 12 Receiving critique, make improvements, repeat. Also drew up different styles of cats to collect, and upgradable options for the player. Implementing the sprites into the game scene.

Oct 13-14 Implementing animation cycles and particles on the main menu, and in game to bring more life into the game. Play testing and improving from the critique.

Oct 15 - Adding better audio for music and sound effects while the android .apk file was getting prepared.
